'NO BENEFIT' ... Imms Mulunga, former managing director of the National Petroleum Corporation of Namibia (Namcor), says a Namcor subsidiary, Namcor Petroleum Trading and Distribution, had a fuel supply agreement with the company Enercon Namibia in terms of which the Namcor subsidiary was the exclusive supplier of fuel products that Enercon supplied to the Namibian Defence Force (NDF). That agreement was followed by an agreement in terms of which the Namcor company bought Enercon's service station assets at nine NDF bases for N$53.2 million in July 2022. Asked if he benefited personally from the asset purchase agreement, Mulunga says: "Absolutely not."
