It’s clear that Union Build stands out tech-wise among its competitors, so why didn’t VCs max bid on it?

Solver bridges are quite basic, as they only move assets and aren’t suitable for cross-chain DeFi.

Wormhole, Axelar, and LayerZero rely on third-party oracles, a model that has led to major bridge hacks in the past.

Instead of using third-party oracles, Union relies on ZK-based consensus verification, enabling trustless, scalable, and programmable cross-chain interoperability.

Even though there have been few bridge hacks recently, Union Build still offers significantly stronger security guarantees than the rest.
