🔥 Precedent! Azerbaijan arrests former Wagner fighters for war crimes in Ukraine

Azerbaijan has done what no other former Soviet state has dared so far — it arrested its own citizens for fighting with the Wagner Group. The report comes from Euromaidan Press.

Two Azerbaijani nationals, both previously imprisoned in Russian penal colonies, were recruited by Wagner and took part in combat operations in Ukraine.

They now face charges for using firearms and explosives on Ukrainian territory, as well as attempting to recruit others into the group.

👍🏻 Baku just set an example for the rest of the post-Soviet world — this is how it’s done.
