Nigeria's Monetary Policy Committee has unanimously decided to leave the Monetary policy rate unchanged at XXXX per cent alongside other key parameters. The Governor of the Central Bank, Olayemi Cardoso notes the hold stance is key to sustain the momentum of disinflation and contain price pressures. He further reiterates the ultimate goal is to achieve single-digit inflation.
