Like so many things given the moniker “Britannia”, the branding screams 🇬🇧"EMPIRE!"🇬🇧, but the experience whispers budget bedsit with a complimentary mildew sampler, a distinct lack of air conditioning and £5 charges for carrying ice upstairs.

If this is what @MichelleDewbs considers “very swanky”, I shudder to think what she would call a Travelodge with curtains.
