No way, 2011s dominate in competition for a reason.

Just that standard 2011 magazines in the STi pattern need to be clean to function properly.  It's why the Army JSOC unit experiment with XX cal 2011s in the 2000s failed, and probably why the Staccato HD (Glock mag compatible) was invented.
