Then days later, 77th place. Then I dropped to 89th and boom 93rd (7 digits away from getting kicked out of top 100). I felt frustrated, honestly thought about throwing in the towel. But then I am a good writer (when inspired) and the guys at the top of the LB were posting BS content and copy pastas. LB - Leaderboard Then @heycape_ made a tweet about anon not outworking him (rage bait then 😅). So I made myself these promises: X. I don’t care if you had a 100k followers, or big influence on CT or even a newbie. X. I will not be outworked by anyone. I grinded, created quality posts, started a dYdX weekly spaces, and was my original self. I enjoyed the process and ignore the LB rankings as much as possible (the hardest part). Results? In two weeks, little by little, I demolished every influencer, noob, and creator before me on the LB. - I didn’t check LB stats, I didn’t chase yaps or mindshare. - I didn’t cry or whine about the algo kicking and shitting on me repeatedly. - I didn’t whine about big accounts posting Gms and climbing the LB fast. - Didn’t beg for follows, Rts, or likes. - I locked in, tunnel visioned, learned all I could about dYdX and put out consistent content into the void. Final Result: • Went from studying top dogs to becoming the top dog…. Grrrrrrrrrrr • Went from 93rd place to the 3rd place as a small accounts in season X. • And finishing in top XXX of season two. Then I pivoted my focus and: • won 1st place in the dYdX affiliate sprint one. • And 2nd place in affiliate sprint two. • And now top XX of sprint three (most competitive one so far) I showed everyone that I am not a one time wonder. I sat my ass down, put in the work and showed that I wanted it more. My content and ideas sparked off other yappers creativity(chart ideas and translations). And brick by brick, heads down, I stacked up Ws. The job is not done, I’m hopeful about the grant application I submitted at dYdX 😮💨. This post is not to flex, but to inspire the question: How bad do you want the win? When next you touch grass or gf, and take breaks on the weekends, remember that someone out there that wants it more is up and fixated on outworking you. Don’t chase, commit to the process and soon the flow state takes over. Easier to win while you are winning. And most importantly: All glory to God for the character to contribute excellency in all I do. Go get it champ🫵 Cheers!
