One official compared the bill to the "dictatorship laws" passed under Yanukovych on January 16, 2014. The British magazine The Economist published a scathing analysis of Ukraine’s new legislation weakening the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO).
