Stylus isn’t an add-on,  it’s built into @arbitrum Nitro.

Because Nitro already runs on WASM under the hood, Stylus unlocks the ability to write smart contracts in Rust, C, C++, or Go and run them right alongside Solidity contracts. 

Same storage, same security, same environment. 
Just more languages.
