Breaking news! The US is departing from UNESCO for the third time in 2026. 

They previously left UNESCO twice, in 1986 and 2017 (under the Reagan and Trump45 terms), due to alleged anti-US and anti-Israel bias respectively, and the latter is also the reason for this departure.
