🇺🇸 ROY BLACK, LEGAL LEGEND AND 'GOAT' OF CRIMINAL DEFENSE, DIES AT XX

Miami’s Roy Black, once a young public defender, rose to national fame as the sharp-witted courtroom powerhouse behind William Kennedy Smith’s acquittal.

Over decades, he defended names like Epstein, Limbaugh, Castroneves, and BuzzFeed.

He taught at UM Law, wrote Black’s Law, and mentored generations of lawyers.

Friends called him brilliant, funny, and unstoppable.

He died Monday at his Coral Gables home, still working, still revered.

Survived by wife Lea, two children, and a legacy even the bar can’t measure.
