🚨 U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will meet Chinese officials in Stockholm on Monday and Tuesday for the third round of high-level trade talks, after earlier meetings in Geneva and London. The talks aim to extend the current pause in trade actions beyond mid-August. Sweden has confirmed it will host, though Beijing hasn’t officially commented.

Bessent said discussions will also cover China’s heavy reliance on manufacturing and exports. He also hopes to raise concerns over China’s oil purchases from Russia and Iran. Meanwhile, Trump said Xi Jinping invited him to Beijing and rare earth tensions may ease.
