Ah I get what you mean.

It still makes a difference, though. The more forced air, the more the surface area is being crisped up.

I have an airfry setting on my kitchen oven. It runs the convection fan faster and without interruption (compared to the convection setting, which turns the fan on periodically).

Things that you would typically put in an airfryer come out way better on the airfry setting.
