According to the leaked email, the two XX year old monkeys—HooHoo and Duff—were born in 2007 and have been tortured in alcohol addiction experiments at Wake Forest. One of them is locked in solitary confinement. @WhiteCoatWaste was able to trace these two monkeys to the @NIH-funded @CzotyLab_atWF that just had its funding renewed by @NIHDirector_Jay. The lab’s current NIH grant has received $XXXXXXXXX and was scheduled to end in April 2025, but has now been extended another year by @DrJBhattacharya and @NIAAAnews. Sources tell me that the head of the lab, Paul Czoty, is refusing to release the monkeys to a sanctuary, even though potential homes and funding for their retirement have been secured. This is more evidence of how Dr. Jay Bhattacharya is failing animals and taxpayers. Jay told @JustinRGoodman from White Coat Waste that he’d end primate testing. Instead, he refuses to shut down the monkey labs in his own NIH agency headquarters, and he’s rewarding this mad scientist at @WakeForestNews with more US taxpayer money while he holds monkeys hostage and threatens to kill them if no one ponies up $XXXXX.
