Well, they earn the fees right?

Arguably in any paradigm where they launch a token, the goal is for most of the supply to go to others 

If they wanted to own their own stuff, they could also buy it off open market?

(I think bundling initial buy with launch vs giving % at launch is not that materially different tbqh)
