🚨 Ethereum Doubles Down on ZK

At Devcon in Bangkok, @ethereum core developer Justin Drake proposed the “Beam Chain” — an ambitious upgrade using zk-SNARKs and zkEVM to improve scalability directly at the consensus layer. Some feared this would render L2 networks obsolete.

But leaders from @zksync and @0xPolygon say otherwise. The upgrade, they argue, enhances L2 performance by reducing finality time and increasing interoperability, without replacing execution layers
