D'Ambrosio: “I would never have let go of Ferrari, I listen to Vasseur five times a day”:

— Jerome D'Ambrosio expressed his professional satisfaction after joining Ferrari, emphasizing the allure of the Scuderia di Maranello. Speaking to media, D'Ambrosio remarked:

“Ferrari, Italy and Frederic Vasseur, how could I say no? Like a car that is not adjusted based on a single parameter, even a decision like this is not taken for a single reason. However, it was an opportunity that I would never have let go of, Ferrari is simply mythical.”

“At Mercedes, in addition, my role was 'hybrid' let's say. At Ferrari, on the other hand, my position is clear, the perimeter is defined. Vasseur is the team leader, but the team principal's workload includes managing drivers, resources, budget and communication, and the two of us share everything.”

— He elaborated on the dynamic and collaborative relationship with Frederic Vasseur, underscoring their frequent communication:

“The relationship with Vasseur is excellent and the dialogue is constant, we talk X times a day on the phone if we are not in the office at the same time. There are no 'exclusive' aspects of the job, depending on what one of them is doing, the other works accordingly.”

— As Ferrari prepares for the Spa weekend, D'Ambrosio anticipates the debut of the new rear suspension, a significant development under the guidance of Loic Serra. The Belgian, who considers Spa a home race, is eager for Ferrari's first victory of 2025, hoping it might occur in the Ardennes.
