Iron Ore Futures Dip on Profit-Taking: Analyst
#Ironore futures declined in early Asian trading, likely due to profit-taking. Recent investor sentiment has been supported by Beijing's efforts to reduce overcapacity and the launch of a XXX trillion yuan hydropower project, which could boost steel demand. Analysts at China Galaxy Futures noted in a report that the current market valuation has returned to a reasonable level. They added that iron ore prices may continue to fluctuate upward given the optimistic market expectations. The most actively traded September iron ore contract on the Dalian Commodity Exchange fell XXXX% to CNY XXXXX per ton.
