#Seahawks Mike Macdonald on having great participation in those voluntary workouts:

"It was great. I was impressed and not surprised in a good way. I was a little bit surprised that the guys had such a quick buy-in. I think going into the whole offseason, sitting down with the rest of our coaches and just mapping out "hey, what do we want to get done through the offseason program" and really kind of the common denominator was that we want to be tough and connected. We can't be the physically tough team yet because of the different ways you have to practice right now, but mentally taught, you know, working on our spirit and our metals and those sorts of things. Even though the players needed a break, they were really excited to come back."

Also, expect the starters to play in some of these preseason games.
