2023 - I get offered two contracts which pulled *after they offered*
2024 - one contract offered contingent on me getting security clearance on a timeline I could not possibly obtain one 
2025- one company wouldn't pay a renewal/revisions bill I sent them for X months. Another company seemed nice enough via email etc then I get to the "meeting" and it's an ai speaking to me.  

People that entered this industry 2020-present just obliterated it. if ur friend doesn't have a job for u (and u probably need to match their politics/sex/ethnicity even if u do) ur just fcked. 

if wasn't for friends and my junior dev I'd just leave honestly, I've done this for XX years I should be too old for this sht, but here we are. Overrun with grifters, cheaters, liars, and I'm over it.
