$NVDA $AMD

The whole AI tech stack is getting COMMODITIZED!!!

Nvidia needs to keep acquiring new businesses to inflate demand, to keep its GPUs from depreciating. This does sound a little Enron like, but I don’t play that short selling game, and I would never short NVDA. But I think it just shows that they are vulnerable and that their massive market share can be penetrated by others.

People got into NVDA because it was the picks and shovels play. But ummmmm you know picks and shovels are basically a COMMODITY! I rather bet on the lagging picks and shovel plays.

But here is the more philosophical reason for why I like AMD’s technological direction vs Nvidia’s; AMD’s Chiplet technology is based on modularity, Nvidia’s entire ecosystem from Hardware to CUDA is a basically one giant monolith to keep you in their prism prison.

I just think Nvidia went all in on one type of architecture, in an EMERGING NEW TECHNOLOGY, and they grew way too fast with more money than they can effectively work with, which is why they have been playing that Enron, GE, IBM financialization game with their accounting. In world moving towards more open source, more innovation, more emerging technologies that are creating new unseen synergies, I think modularity will become king of that world.

Again not saying to short NVDA, or that it will fall, but more so that its weaknesses provides a great opportunity for AMD in the long run.
