[INFO] According to Industry reports, Compose Coffee, a leading player in the domestic low-price coffee franchise market, has appointed former Samsung Electronics executive as its new CEO, a strategic move in line with the company's move to strengthen its overseas expansion

Compose Coffee announced that it had officially appointed Hong-Seok Kim, an executive who previously worked at Samsung Electronics, Mom's Touch, and AJ Total, as its CEO. Compose Coffee has been signaling its intention to advance into the global market since being acquired by Jollibee Foods, the largest restaurant company in the Philippines, last year.

Regarding this move, an industry insider analyzed, "As CEO Kim has gained global marketing experience at Samsung and is well-versed in franchises and restaurant distribution, it is likely that it fits in well with Compose Coffee's blueprint to become a global brand." It will be interesting to see how Compose Coffee, together with its partner Jollibee, will implement its localization strategy.
