TRUMP TAKES SWIPE AT PREVIOUS PH LEADERS

During a meeting at the White House with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., US President Donald Trump took a jab at the previous Philippine administrations, claiming the country’s past leaders failed to manage diplomatic ties well.

“They didn’t get along with anybody,” Trump told reporters. “Honestly, they didn’t know what they were doing.”

Although he did not mention names, Trump made the remarks while praising Marcos and highlighting the US-Philippine military cooperation.
