How do we tell the difference between a "villain" and a "supervillain"? The Joker, an iconic supervillain, has less powers than the Wicked Witch of the West or Darth Vader, who are not generally considered "super". 

I think the difference is that supervillains are villains who fight superheroes. Which of course, asks the question, "What is a superhero?"
