I told them I’m closing my account and trying another bank/card until I get one that doesn’t to this. “I’ll call when I lose my card, in the meantime you’ll absorb the risk that it might be stolen and you’ll need to cover those charges that I say were not mine.” If those terms are not acceptable I’m leaving. We must not let the federal government move us to digital currency. It will become far far worse if that happens. Use cash whenever you can. I know it is archaic but try in some spots to do it. If you start regularly carrying some cash, it’s not too difficult.
