The Indian man beaten up in Dublin had his face slashed multiple times with a knife, and was left without his trousers - which the gang removed - in a pool of blood by the roadside. The gang of teenangers who beat him up falsely claimed he had misbehaved with children in a nearby park, which is not true. He is a well-educated Indian who had come to Dublin to work in a specialised role for Amazon and only arrived three weeks ago. His wife and child remain in India as they had not joined him yet.
