That's not how consensus works. 

You are saying with the consensus that it is a divine and apostolic tradition, thus binding as de fidei, and thus major saints, theologians, and doctors of the church would not deny it. 

If It is merely an ecclesiastical tradition, then you may see saints and theologians disagree with it depending on the circumstances. 

If it's a divine tradition, then we would not have a witness here against it. 

If it's ecclesiastical, then it's not de fidei properly. 

I reject an unwritten apostolic tradition not found in scripture as de fidei, so two saints supporting it doesn't mean anything to me. 

Ecclesiastical traditions even less so. 

However, you are claiming that the practice is apostolic and de fidei. So witnesses against it are a problem for you, but not for me.
