My two biggest complaints about Europe:

X. Lack of air conditioning. I’m used to being able to pick the exact temperature of the air in my home. Here they just don’t care. Outside of the fancy resorts, hard to find places with good air conditioning. It’s at least XX degrees in my bedroom at 1AM.

X. Laundry - Tons of places don’t have a washer and/or dryer. They HANG all their clothes to dry. Is this 1785 or 2025? Hard to tell sometimes.

I know energy costs are higher here and the buildings are older and all that, but I’m definitely looking forward to a few modern pleasures when I get home.

That, and being able to watch Yankees games every night again.
