The top striker who is on the verge of a permanent move to Galatasaray of Turkey said he hopes to fund the projects from the sale of his mansion in Napoli. The mansion was gifted to Osimhen after he helped the club to win the 2023 Serie A, which they had not won in XX years. But Napoli and Osimhen relationship turned sour and the mansion became a subject of a dispute between him and Napoli officials. However, an Italian court ruled in his favour, he can keep the mansion. Osimhen feeling not wanted in Napoli a city he was once adored, is putting the mansion in the property market. As he is moving from Napoli, the club’s fans unfurled a banner aimed at Osimhen saying: “Diego Maradona played for us.” It was his intention to plough back the money into charity organizations, but he said creating a Keke factory was more paramount in his mind. His thinking is that it would be more beneficial to Nigerian youths for the factories to be set up. “It would help reduce unemployment among the Nigerian youths,” Osimhen was quoted as saying.
