🧵 1/6 #OTD in 2014: TransAsia Flight 222, an ATR 72, crashes in Magong (Taiwan), XX of XX aboard die. Approaching in bad weather, plane hit ground in a CFIT XXX mi from runway. Inquiry highlighted pilot actions, noting crew broke SOP and should have aborted the maneuver.
