They eat fish, not mammals. There is no water near us. The Golden Eagle does, and we have rabbits in the neighborhood. Like I said, the other day he had a 3-foot snake in his claws. We have Garter snakes. The lighting makes it hard to see his colors, but in the sun, with his wings spread out, he's all brown. White belly/legs. His eyes were intense.
