Hi Mr. Non Sequitur (that's what I'm going to call you, because it's a fitting description for your preferred method of engagement).
1) I never said I hated Germans, so your question "Do you hate the Confederates as much...?" doesn't make any sense.
2) This is apples and oranges for a whole host of reasons. Germany, a foreign entity declared war on America AFTER their ally attacked us. It's all on them, and it's totally unjustified. 
3) The South should not have fired on Ft. Sumpter. That was a stupid diplomatic, strategic, and tactical mistake. If they had chosen not to be the aggressors, the North might not have ever fought them. But they attacked first.
