The original post did not need any clarification.  It was a bad take and this clarification doesn't change it at all. Still bad.  

You seem to think resigning would somehow change the administrations attacks of Powell and the institution.  It wouldn't it would only get worse. "Lock her up" Comey/FBI, Sleepy Biden, Hunters laptop remain constant despite the years of irrelevancy.  Only be staying IN THE SEAT can Powell fight for the institution.  Awful Awful Take by you
