Google deleted XX thousand YouTube accounts for promoting China and Russia

Google reported removing more than XXXXX YouTube channels linked to Russia as part of its fight against disinformation. According to the company, the deleted accounts published content in various languages that promoted a pro-Russian agenda, criticized Ukraine, NATO, and Western countries.

Additionally, in the second quarter, Google also blocked more than XXXXX channels linked to China. These channels published materials in Chinese and English, promoting a positive image of the PRC, supporting Chairman Xi Jinping, and commenting on U.S. foreign policy.
