Karl Marx said that Socialism was a step to Communism.

Democratic Socialism simply means implementing Socialism through the mechanism of Democracy.

So Democratic Socialism is nothing but using Democracy as a stepping stone towards Communism.

People need to understand this:

Democratic Socialism is not a soft Socialism that includes all the things we love without the supply shortages. It's just the beginning steps towards everyone eating boot leather.
