Sometime in the last XX or so years, with the advent of Uber/Lyft, increase in deliveries via Amazon, DoorDash, GrubHub, etc… vehicle flashers went from signaling “I’m pulled over on the side of the road w/ problems” to “if these are on, I can dbl park wherever the fuck I want.”
