The bill’s $170B border package includes $45B for detention centers and $50B for border tech—tools that should’ve been prioritized over the last administration’s failed catch-and-release policies.

While the $1B for interdiction matters, the real win is the $29.9B to ICE for deportations and 10K new agents. That’s how you stop fentanyl at the source—by removing the cartels’ foot soldiers, not just intercepting shipments.
