Hajiya Nana Shettima turns XX today, and I join millions of Nigerians in celebrating a woman whose strength lies not in display but in devotion.

Whether standing with the displaced in Borno at the height of conflict, or quietly supporting girls’ education and vulnerable families, her work has been consistent, deliberate, and deeply human.

Hajiya Nana has been a solid partner to our Vice President Kashim Shettima and an example of what grace under pressure looks like.

At 50, her legacy is not just in the lives she’s touched but also in the hope she’s helped restore without seeking applause.

I pray the years ahead reward her richly, and that her light will continue to shine across our nation.
