🇺🇸 American aerospace and defense company Northrop Grumman is performing ground-based tests for space-based interceptors as part of a competition for the Trump administration’s Golden Dome missile defense initiative. 

Orbit-deployed interceptors are considered a key element of the Golden Dome plan, though developing this capability poses significant technical challenges.
