X days later, Trump nominated him to lead the $60B DFC—despite zero foreign policy experience.  
The “qualification”? His dad Leon paid Epstein $158M *after* Epstein’s trafficking conviction.  

Apollo Global (co-founded by Leon) bought X’s debt at 97¢/$1 on 2/15/25—weeks after Ben’s appointment. The admin then gutted $76B from USAID poverty programs to fund DFC’s domestic mining pivot, overriding career staff who warned this violates U.S. development law.
