I don’t know so much about Fenerbahce but what I observed when I was in Istanbul is that Supporting Galatasaray is a tradition. It’s a way of Life. Nearly all restaurants,shops,hotels and houses have flags of Galatasaray. I saw kids that are so knowledgeable about the football club and never for once did I see any Turkish person wanting to discuss about the premier league of other leagues!! It’s clubs in the Turkish league or nothing. 

- I saw foreigners come in their heavy numbers to support Galatasaray and for 90minutes when I was in the stadium.. it didn’t stop breathing. There’s something unique and special about the club Galatasaray. Honestly.
