Trump's not off his rocker this is a big problem.
First they may as well send that money here. It doesn't benefit their people.
The whole idea behind sending our jobs abroad was that other countries could elevate themselves.
We'd send them jobs, buy their products, allow their people to immigrate here, study in our universities then get jobs and send billions of $USD in remittances back to families. A XX% tariff barely starts to pick at the surface of this massive imbalance.
There are too many countries doing this and it's become economically unsustainable for us.
