Crowsnest Programme

21/25 Crowsnest, designed to replace the ASaC Mk7, integrates a Searchwater ASaC derivative into the Merlin HM2 helicopter. Developed by Thales and Lockheed Martin, it provides AEW for the Queen Elizabeth-class carriers but faced delays and integration issues (otherwise known as a typical MoD procurement shambles).
