@marliglen @RepMTG A ban on "assault weapons" is a violation of the Second Amendment as per the U.S. Supreme Court's decisions in Heller, Caetano, and Bruen.

And McDonald at the state-level.

Such a ban is inconsistent with the original intent of the Second Amendment:
