8/ TLDR

1) Needs to be altseason. Step X achieved. ✅
2) Go to Coinbase, "Explore" tab, scroll to lower marketcaps. (Sub $50M). 
3) Find a coin that hasn't hit ATH, is newer, is not a meme, and looks like it has promise. 
4) Research it. Go to their website. Look through their whitepaper. Go to secondary sources such as DefiLLama. Make sure its not a scam, reputable companies are in it, etc. 
5) Check token unlock schedules. Make sure a ton of their tokens aren't set to vest to insiders anytime soon. For this, check their token release schedule in their whitepaper or on their website. Secondary sources such as are good, but may not have newer coins on there yet. 
6) Pull the trigger. Have a little patience, re-evaluate if needed. TAKE PROFITS. Get your initial $ out and go for the Lambo with the rest.
