On his 55th birthday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis turned the spotlight away from personal celebrations to focus on public service in his constituency and across the state. 

He chose to celebrate his birthday in the Naxal-affected district of Gadchiroli. 

He launched a massive statewide blood donation drive through BJP mandals and urged leaders to contribute ₹5 lakh each to the CM Relief Fund.
