Fire personnel from the Obuasi Fire Station, led by Station Officer II Appiah Kubi, on Sunday night, July 20, 2025, carried out a heroic rescue operation after a day-old bàby bòy was found abandoned in a public latrine at Ahansonyewodea.

The team responded swiftly to the distress call and managed to retrieve the infànt alive at exactly 11:31 PM. The bàby was immediately rushed to the AGA Hospital, where he is currently receiving medical attention.
