In the process, the Royals made Hill the oldest player in the league since Ichiro played at the same age in 2019. But that's not the only record Hill broke. By joining the Royals, Hill will now play for his 14th team, an MLB record he now shares with journeyman pitcher Edwin Jackson. Now that he’s done that, though, the hard part remains.
