Everything about the Epstein case was handled incorrectly. The entire process was the exact opposite of standard procedure. Ghislaine Maxwell never spoke to a single prosecutor, yet it was still concluded that the case was closed.

Former U.S. Attorney Brett Tolman explains how the case was fundamentally flawed and backwards from beginning to end:

“The entire Epstein case was backwards. It was not a traditional DOJ approach. In any other case you would start with victims and then go up the chain.”
