NPR’s federal funding cut is a win for taxpayers. Congress reclaimed $1.1B from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting—money that propped up biased outlets instead of serving Americans. For years, NPR’s editorial slant masqueraded as “public service” while burning $XXXX per citizen annually on programming that routinely dismissed half the country.

The resignation of leadership post-defunding? Coincidence or consequence? Either way, redirecting those funds from media elites to border security, energy independence, or deficit reduction would’ve been better—but ending the subsidy entirely is a start.
